Bridging the Gap
Sometimes, a devil disrupts my peace. I attempt to fix the issue, naturally. Okay, so when the pots and pans don't work, I try something else. If that something doesn't work either, would you normally panic? Reach out for help? On this occasion, perhaps you don't have much time but you want to overcome this NOW!
The Devil is in the Detail
What do you do when the devil disrupts your peace?
Because rightly or wrongly, you may be blocking your energy, your own power. Perhaps it's concentrated in your back or held tightly in your abdomen as it was for me. It could even be held in a person, object or thought. Now such thoughts of them churn around making me feel hungry. This is okay! It's better than a lump in the stomach.
My path has not been that orderly. My priorities permanently veered away from superficial achievements at art college, following SA. Thanks to a friend called Susie, I developed a passion for energy work (undoubtably as a root towards healing). I studied holistic massage, acupressure, reflexology and eventually meditation. I learnt counselling skills, and supported victims of crime and people suffering from mental health issues. I attended courses in homeopathy, cranio-sacral therapy and many other fabulous ways to aid us on our healing journey. I have had to some bad experiences but my own anger hurt deeply.
Breaking Point
And my sense of powerlessness took over. I was at the mercy of 'them'. The surface of my body continued to rage and my back ached. With years of troubled connections, my attention shifted to another unseen force that seemed to be dictating my outcomes. The weight of this burden, this sense of being kept quiet was like the stone in my stomach. So I put my own practice to good use. And I got answers unbidden. Another sign to remain true to this path.
The Powers that Be
We are in turbulent times but still, I shy away from blaming 'them' for the current situation. The experience may be real but their power is not. So every time you say 'they or 'them' to describe your own anger or suffering, there is work to do. We are worthy of this and body coherence and a regulated nervous system are the touchstones of such work. And I will show up! I will look at the pain-points. And through it, transform!

The Tree of Life! What's seen and what upholding it's eternal life remains beneath the soil. The earth is naturally fed in times of goodness. This supports a healthy tree. The same can be said for our own lives.
